I wasn’t sure how to title this blog post. Baby Doll, Bob, Cuddles, Cinnamon, Elton, Hobo Joe, Sting, Tasha & Stuart seemed just a little too long:) These are Amy’s cats. I met Amy when I was in college, through volunteering at a cat shelter. I really wanted a cat but we couldn’t have one in our dorm room at the time. So I took a shift (I can’t remember if it was once or twice a week) volunteering at Jandy’s Home to clean up after and play with the cats. I loved it! Amy actually gave us our cat “Jett” as a wedding present in 2007. I’ll have to do a post about him sometime:) Anyways, Amy is very passionate about rescuing cats! She works with programs around the country to rescue, spay or neuter, and get cats adopted into loving homes. I was excited when she asked me to take pictures of her own cats (these ones aren’t up for adoption they have a pretty sweet home at Amy’s:), she has quite a few as you can see, and there was one or two that wouldn’t come out. Just like people some are very photogenic (Baby Doll, the first picture you see, just kept following me and staring at the camera), while others ran and hid:) Here are just a couple of my favorite shots:
